Qualities: The ideal candidate should have previous teaching experience, preferably including residential schools or summer camps, knowledge and experience of summer schools or short courses, experience working with young (teenage) learners, IT proficiency, cultural sensitivity with a native level of English, and a high-level understanding of English language teaching and learning. They should also be focused on quality and student outcomes, a team player, and possess excellent organisational, administrative, and time management skills.
They are also seeking at least one proficient Spanish speaker to provide support.
Furthermore, their programmes are inclusive, so candidates will have experience of working with those with neurodivergence and other additional learning needs, and be willing and able to support specialist teachers. Those without experience in this area may still be considered if they demonstrate the right qualities and a commitment to professional development.
You should have:
Qualifications: TEFL 120 Hour Certificate / CELTA / Trinity TESOL Cert, or equivalent.
Requirements: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check or Police Criminal Record Check if coming from abroad, provide two referees, and commit to ensuring the safety and welfare of participants and staff.
Safeguarding and Eligibility Checks: Appropriate suitability checks, such as with the Disclosure and Barring Service, are required for roles involving responsibility for or access to under-18s. All employment gaps must be explained, and two references are required.
