We’ve led the industry and are the most accredited TEFL course provider.
TEFL Accreditation with The TEFL Org
There's no single accrediting body for TEFL, so we've led the way in the industry by ensuring we have the best external accreditation from internationally recognised awarding bodies. We have more accreditation than any other TEFL course provider in the UK, which means you can be assured our courses have undergone strict external monitoring and control.
This high standard is maintained across our range of TEFL courses, from our online courses to our Ofqual-regulated Level 5 TEFL courses. We've trained over 185,000 EFL teachers who've used their qualification from The TEFL Org to find jobs teaching English all over the world.
Our accreditation partners are
DEAC/AQC
The DEAC (Distance Education Accrediting Commission) was founded in 1926 and accredits distance learning providers across the USA and internationally.
Recognised by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, the DEAC awards AQC (Approved Quality Curriculum) status only to providers who meet their stringent standards.
Our 120-hour Premier Online and 200-hour Level 5 Online TEFL courses are DEAC AQC approved.
Ofqual
Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) is responsible for regulating education standards, certifications and exams in England and Wales. TQUK is an Ofqual regulated awarding body who have approved The TEFL Org as a TQUK centre. A regulated Level 5 qualification means that it has been assessed to be a level 5 course according to Ofqual's qualification framework.
This qualification is of an equal level of achievement and difficulty to other qualifications at the same level, including CELTA and Trinity CertTESOL qualifications.
