William Wallace, bagpipes, haggis, castles, and men wearing kilts: is that what comes to mind when you think of Scotland? Think again! From the windswept Highlands and lochs surrounded by mystery (hello Nessie!) to the bustling streets of Edinburgh, Scotland offers a journey through time and tradition. The mountains, the lochs, the sea, the islands: this is a country to discover and to explore high and low.
Scotland is also where you too can be brave-hearted and turn your professional life around. Step out of your comfort zone and train to become a TEFL teacher and work abroad or online. With The TEFL Org, you are safe in the knowledge that your courses are accredited, whether they be classroom-based, online, or combined. Our experienced and qualified tutors leading our classroom courses across Scotland are all experts in this field. To build your confidence and develop your teaching skills further we recommend taking a classroom course in combination with self-paced online training.
With The TEFL Org, in-person weekend courses of 20 hours are available in Glasgow and Edinburgh. For all the other Scottish destinations, you join a Virtual Classroom course from home, which follows the exact same syllabus as that of our in-person classroom courses. All our tutor-led lessons are delivered by experienced teachers who have years of teaching and teacher training experience under their belts. So, here’s the question: where in Scotland will you train to become a certified TEFL teacher?
