Edinburgh - what an incredible location to study in! The Fringe Festival has contributed to increasing the city’s popularity since 1947, making Edinburgh one of the trendiest cities in the UK. But its charm doesn’t stop there. With 112 parks in the city alone and more trees per capita than any other city in the United Kingdom, Edinburgh’s idyllic surroundings can give your mental focus a boost while you immerse yourself in the world of TEFL.
With The TEFL Org’s accredited courses, you have the opportunity to train as a teacher of English as a foreign language. In Edinburgh, you can combine 20 hours of training in-person or live on Zoom with experienced tutors and 200 hours of our self-study programme, to complete at your own pace from the comfort of your own home. With 100 hours of study over the minimum requirement by any employer’s standards in the UK and abroad, you can step into the classroom with confidence from your very first day.
Whether you study in person or virtually, you’ll be taught by one of our highly experienced and qualified TEFL tutors. Get to know more about them in this video!

Accreditation matters. It's how both you and employers can be certain that a course offers all it claims to. That's why we are regularly assessed by a number of external bodies to ensure that the training we offer continues to be of industry-leading quality. These bodies include: DEAC, BAC, Ofqual, ODLQC, and SQA.
As the most accredited TEFL course provider in the world, a certificate from The TEFL Org is internationally recognised and respected. Wherever you're aiming to teach, you can be confident that training from us will leave you both prepared and qualified to take on an exciting new role as an English teacher!
