TEFL Org co-founder, Jennifer MacKenzie, tells us about her journey from teaching in Greece to leading the industry.
In this episode, we found out how a politics student became the co-founder of an industry-leading TEFL course provider and an influential ambassador for Scottish women in business. How? Well, it involves a garden shed turned office and an unbelievable work ethic, of course.
Jennifer MacKenzie co-founded The TEFL Org in 2008 with Joe Hallwood, and from its humble beginnings in a small shed/office near Inverness, the company has grown exponentially, with teachers working across the world.
Jennifer, herself a former TEFL teacher, worked in Greece, Austria and France before focusing entirely on business, and is a well-recognised business figure in Scotland, helping to mentor inspired young women to follow her path.
