Job Details

This school is looking for 4 English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers to teach English classes at their academy located in the Galapagos Islands. The job involves delivering classes to students from the community, primarily focusing on general English, and occasionally teaching functional English geared towards tourism.

They require teachers with experience in teaching all ages and proficiency levels.

START DATE: MAY 1ST, 2024.

$800.00 USD monthly.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 6 contact hours per day, totaling 30 hours a week. The working hours consist of a split shift, the first session being in the morning, usually from 9-10 am, and the second session from 3-8 pm.

Requirements

A recognized certificate in TEFL /CELTA or equivalent.

Your spoken English must be of native level standard.

Young learner teaching experience.

Class management skills (very important).

Minimum 1 year of experience teaching English.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Enthusiastic and flexible.

Reliable.

Experience living in similar locations will be highly valued.

They also need one German and one French teacher, if you are able to teach any of these languages, let them know.
