The main mission of this foundation is to drive a sustainable tourism development plan for the Indonesian island of Sumba. The core values of SHF are to nurture environmental awareness and cultural identity, and to empower local communities to enable responsible tourism. As part of its mission, the Foundation manages a full boarding hospitality and permaculture school for underprivileged youth, with a green eco-resort, providing vocational education, focusing on practical and soft skills.
The foundation is seeking to fill the position of English Teacher.
Main Responsibilities:
· Teach English as a Second Language to students with a basic knowledge of English that are between 17 and 23 years old
· Undertake the design and development of teaching and assessment materials
· Set and mark assignments
· Assess and report student’s performance
· Attend teachers’ and professional development meetings
· Carry out administrative formalities relating to employment with SHF

Essential:
· Undergraduate degree
· Cambridge CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL, IELTS or equivalent
· At least 3 years’ relevant experience with excellent references
