Job Details

Up International Education is looking for a English Teaching Assistant to cover a few TA vacancies in a few school in the province of Barcelona and Girona

- Schedule: 20/week Monday to Friday within the school hours.

- Age groups assigned: infant and primary or secondary

- Start date: preferably November 2024 or alternatively January 2025

- Ending date:  30th May 2024

- Monthly grant: 550€/month plus in free, full board accommodation with a host family.

- Full medical cover in the Spanish national health system.

Due to the close start of these positions, they can only be offered to European passport holders, to citizens with employment permits, or to non-European passport holders with student visas, allowed to renew papers in Spain.

Prior experience working with kids / pupils will be an asset.

Additional Benefits

The position involves living with a host family and so all living expenses are covered, including accommodation, internet and utility bills.

Requirements

Although a degree is not required, it is desirable. Likewise, experience is not necessary but a clear interest in education and some background volunteering or interning in the field would be an asset.
