Teaching position available in the beautiful historic city of Leon for the school year 2025/26 (1st October 2025 – 19th June 2026). Please note, you will need to be in León a few weeks before the start date to organise any relevant paperwork.

Working in a small but dynamic team on the university campus, this would be the ideal opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain experience and develop in their career, or for a more experienced teacher wanting to try something new.
The right candidate is not required to have any teaching experience (outside the TEFL training undertaken) however, any classroom experience will be valued.
Training and support will be provided by a CELTA qualified teacher during the first weeks of the job.
Due to complexities arising from Brexit and the resulting difficulties in employing non-EU nationals, their preferred candidate would have EU nationality or already have Spanish residency.
Job description:
The job involves teaching a variety of different levels from CEFR level A2 to C2 and preparing students for official exams (Cambridge English and others). There are also groups with teenagers younger children.
There will be between 20 and 24 hours per week of teaching, normally Monday to Thursday, some mornings, however classes will mainly be in the afternoons and evenings. We occasionally have classes on Fridays, but this varies from year to year.
