Job Details

This is a Ukrainian project with 10 years of experience. They are an English-speaking camp under a European license. They are affiliated with the International Camping Fellowship, their operations adhere to international standards.

Their focus is on inspiring campers to learn English through immersion in British culture, facilitated by collaborations with the London Museum of Happiness, British sports coaches, and certified teachers. They organize holidays across three countries: Great Britain, Ukraine, and Poland.  They have assembled an international team of professionals who ensure the 24/7 physical and mental safety of the children and adolescents at the camp. 

They are actively recruiting qualified and experienced native-level English speakers and Group leaders from European countries to work at our locations in Ukraine, Poland, the UK, and Spain.

The main aim of their camp is not only to create a marvelous atmosphere for the kids by organizing exciting unique events, excursions, festivals and quests. For them, it is vital to provide campers with a proper educational process. Every year they create unique programs and academic plans to make the children’s time in the camp useful and unforgettable. 

Teachers in the camp are responsible for preparing and delivering 5 hours of engaging English lessons per day due to the materials that we prepare in advance. Also, teachers take part in some activities to provide the campers with an English-speaking atmosphere.

The group leader accompanies a group of children (up to 15 people) throughout the day. They are responsible for adhering to the daily schedule, ensuring the safety of the children, participating in activities, and organizing them. The group leader is the person who spends the most time with the campers, so you will become their closest friend during the stays. Together, you will prepare creative performances, go on excursions, play sports games and have fun.

Requirements

For teachers:

-  Teacher experience of at least 1 year

- Proficient level of native language (English)

  *preferably citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland

- Bachelor's degree in English Philology or TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certifications

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured schedule 

- Ability to work as part of a team, sharing resources, and ideas and lending support to colleagues as required

- Ability and confidence to lead as well as participate in activities

- Strong desire to work with children in an outdoor setting

- Motivation to learn and practice new skills

For group leaders:

  • Experience working with children and teenagers
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to conduct sports activities and workshops for children and teenagers (materials provided)
  • Monitoring campers' daily schedule, ensuring their safety upon arrival
  • Being ready to support children, have fun with them, and be a true friend
