Opportunities to teach English in Beijing, Nanjing and Suzhou, China have emerged with a highly reputable university, which for over 70 years has turned out tens of thousands of graduates with high levels of proficiency in foreign languages. Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) is a key university affiliated to the Ministry of Education (MOE) and offers the largest number of language learning programmes and other interdisciplinary studies in China. BFSU has a number of teaching English as a foreign language positions throughout Beijing, Nanjing and Suzhou, providing professional development training and academic support. As an employee at one of their English training schools for children in the city of Beijing, Nanjing or Suzhou, you will be teaching children aged between four and thirteen years old. Teaching young learners is lots of fun and incredibly rewarding as you can see rapid improvement in your students. Class sizes are approximately 15 children and you will work approximately 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Native English speaker from UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
• Hold a Bachelor's degree
• Applicants must be aged between 24-65 years old (males) and 24-55 years old (females)
• Minimum 120-hour TEFL certificate
• A clean criminal background check/police check (ACRO or similar)

In-country support

This is available throughout your entire contract and is only a phone call away. TEFL Org have a representative based in China, they are there to ensure there is help and support should the teachers have any problems in China.
