Teaching English at a Kindergarten
- Average Monthly Salary: 20,000 RMB – 30,000 RMB
- Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm
- Student Age: 2 to 6 years old
- Class Size: 20 to 30 students
Teaching at a Training Centre
- Average Monthly Salary: 18,000 RMB – 25,000 RMB
- Typical Schedule: Evenings & Weekends
- Student Age: 4 to 16 years old
- Class Size: 5 to 15 students
Teaching at a Public School
- Average Monthly Salary: 20,000 RMB – 30,000 RMB
- Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm
- Student Age: 6 to 18 years old
- Class Size: 30 to 40 students
Teaching at an International School in China
- Average Monthly Salary: 25,000 RMB – 35,000 RMB
- Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Student Age: 6 to 18 years old
- Class Size: 25 to 30 students

Requirements for teacher applicants
Requirements vary from Kindergartens to International Schools however, applicants are expected to meet the following minimum requirements for all teaching posts in China.- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- A minimum of a 120-hour TEFL certificate
- High English language proficiency / native-level English speaker
- A clean criminal background check (ACRO, DBS or similar)
- Previous teaching experience is not essential for Training Centres however, it is desirable for Kindergarten, Public and International Schools
